THIS IS EMPIRE NATION
In spring 2007 Empire Nation was formed - Ed Bird, Sam Dransfield, Sam Glazebrook and Sam Greene. Their modest aim is to change the world one riff at a time, using their faith, creativity and refusal to conform to the norm. Producing music that grabs the attention of everyone from students to politicians, Empire Nation make people sit up and take notice by illuminating what matters, rejecting the mundane and putting things into the context of something bigger than their first impression.
Despite their relatively recent entrance onto the UK music scene, the band have a number of high profile gigs under their belt including Rave in the Nave, Spring Harvest and New Wine. Their 2011 tour and UK dates with The Parachute Band have helped to take their popularity to the next level and with plans for a new album later in the year, you can expect to hear much more from this band.
Their 2010 debut album Airtight has received critical acclaim along with national and international airplay. The band are set to release their follow-up album before the end of 2011.
